Alright, the last three weeks have been a bit of a strenuous ordeal. Finally, I’m beginning to pick up some time here and there where I can start blogging again. When I thought I’d have a ton of time to blog — spring break — my computer ended up getting stolen and I had no [...]

My house was broken into Tuesday night, and my laptop was stolen, among other things. This is the first time I’ve had access to a computer. I just ordered my new laptop, so blogging will resume once I get my new computer. Probably around the middle of this week.

I know I said I’d be back this week. Unfortunately, I’ve been sick with a cold/the flu for the last couple of days, and assuming I recover completely in the next day or two, I’ll still be busy anyways with the Minnesota Gophers making the tourney, and I’m going to the first round games at [...]

Due to the week before spring break being hectic and awful for me (midterms), I’m not going to post anything this week. Look for more stuff next week when I’m not so busy.

We’re getting pretty close to the day where pitchers and catchers report for duty and people start anticipating the first day of spring instead of dreading the upcoming remaining month or so of cabin fever people in the upper midwest tend to experience. Chase Wright is a lefty pitcher who’s done well in the minor leagues, going 13-5 with a [...]

I’m mad about the Super Bowl, so no thanks on the NFL. I can’t stand Pittsburgh and the last play was an incomplete pass, not a fumble. Not that the Cardinals would have won, but tack on 15 yards for the unsportsmanlike conduct, and when you think about how Larry Fitzgerald is the only receiver [...]

Quite a few people have been murmuring about free agent pitcher Ben Sheets and reuniting with the Brewers after a tumultuous offseason that has seen contracts dwindle from astonishing and incredible to downright highway robbery. Free agents who are still in limbo like Sheets, Adam Dunn, Manny Ramirez, and Derek Lowe just aren’t going to [...]

Uh oh. tl; dr version: Prime Brewers shortstop prospect Alcides Escobar’s wife wrote a post on Bleacher Report detailing how Escobar, since getting called up from the minors in the September callup binge, has been abrasive, silent, and big-headed, getting to the point where he skips out on his wife and baby child and supposedly [...]
